With academic training in marketing and finance at McGill University, experience within a variety of multinational corporations (Abitibi-Consolidated, Abbott and General Electric) and service as Vice-President of the Marin marketing agency, Maurice decided to set up his own agency in 1994. He now devotes the bulk of his time to making his firm an agency of the future.
Pier Lalonde acts as a consultant for Rinaldi, from his firm Pixel & Cie. A renowned creative director and experienced strategist, Pier has over 30 years of professional experience with agencies across Canada. A winner of more than 80 international awards, Pier is in great demand as a speaker and mentor for young firms in the industry. He applies his critical perspective to serve the clients, ensuring that each campaign utilizes the maximum power of the creative impact, while staying aligned within the established strategy.
Mirella’s career has been marked by impressive academic achievements. She recently obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Concordia University. On the professional level, she has become an expert in development of integrated marketing strategies. Successively Coordinator (Base Concept), Product Manager (Chantal Thomass) and Brand Manager (La Senza) with various companies in Lebanon, Mirella is now pursuing her extraordinary career as a strategic planner in Canada.
A native of Caraquet, New Brunswick, Tanya has all the requirements of a good Account Executive: excellent organizational agility, a warm and friendly personality, and a great sense of humour. In six years at Rinaldi, she has acquired vast experience in national image campaigns, retail advertising, point-of-purchase promotion and event advertising.
After obtaining several degrees, including a Bachelor’s degree in Communication at the University of Ottawa, Sonia got involved in many large-scaled projects: starting up her shining career in communication as a public relations officer and event planner in Ontario and Québec, she also engaged in community work. She is currently pursuing a graduate diploma in management: marketing concentration
Sophie has developed great communication skills on digital platforms, particularly expertise in effectiveness measurement and optimization on the Web, acquired both at university and in the marketplace. She has worked as a survey analyst at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. Her advertising career has focused on management of projects for prestigious advertisers. In particular, she has worked for L’Oréal at Marketel and for SNC-Lavalin at Day Advertising.
Jenny Therriault is doubly qualified. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, she earned a Master’s of Business Administration. During her studies, she constantly held jobs in business and public health. On the strength of this experience, Jenny approaches the management of advertising projects rigorously, with great adaptability and a strong will to excel.
Guillaume’s ideal is to instill creativity at every stage of a project’s management. Drawing on his Concordia University BA in communication, his travels, his talents in music, his expertise in martial arts, and his knowledge of new trends in communication, he makes a full contribution to enrich the development of any project. Guillaume is very sensitive to the importance of creativity in the birth of great ideas.
With a background in linguistics and literature, Gilles Royal is an advertising ace and Professor of Stylistics with the Continuing Education Faculty at the Université de Montréal. He is also the author of a crime novel entitled Bête noire, not to mention a crime novelist. A full-time wordsmith, he is keenly interested in the role of imagination in the creative process, and the generation of original or unexpected images through words.
An Arts and Communications graduate of the Université de Montréal, Benoît is gifted with great versatility and driven by the desire to contribute to the most daring projects. At Rinaldi, he acts as a “flying” consultant and collaborates in ensuring that projects run smoothly from design to implementation.
From plastic arts student to a well-known art director at major agencies in the past 12 years, Patrick’s captivating career has allowed him to explore the world of advertising. He approaches communication with amusement, sensitivity, and a critical eye. His work expresses his search for balance in visual communication – bringing together originality and relevance.
With a wall decorated with graphic arts diplomas and over 12 years of experience, Christian is a man of ideas, convictions and passion. He applies his experience and creativity to evaluate, question and implement effective and appropriate strategies that can orient the development of the agency and our clients. A unique creator, gifted with a strong personality and a flair for detecting what is beautiful and good, Christian inspires and guides the creative team every day.
Josée approaches the computer keyboard with the passion of a musician. A native of Lac Saint-Jean, she studied musical composition and interpretation before turning to graphic design. In the course of her career, Josée had the unique opportunity to create an image bank for the MegaBrands organization on a global scale. At Rinaldi, she explores the world of digital images, always in search of visual balance, nuance and harmony.
Administrator and co-founder of the agency, Joanne Rinaldi has two outstanding qualities: professional vigilance and kindness. Her meticulous attention to detail comes from working for the resources development division of a major banking institution, while her touching human experiences as a volunteer at the palliative care unit of Santa Cabrini Hospital nurtured her compassionate side.
How did Marcela develop her characteristic serenity and effectiveness? Leading treks across mountainous terrain in Argentina. Swimming, rowing and white-water canoeing. Choreographing and performing ballet, Argentine folk dances, tango and flamenco. All these experiences have given her the assurance and self-control that have allowed her to conquer the rocky terrain of accounting.
After pursuing literary studies in fine arts, communication, and theatre at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, Sophie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies at Concordia University. Her excellent organizational skills, broad artistic vision, and innate intellectual curiosity contribute to making Sophie an action-oriented and dynamic communications project manager whose keen eye for detail and efficiency at multi-tasking is impressive.
Krispahlyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Concordia University and has gained a wealth of experience in event marketing and communications while working with the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Quebec (ALS) and CASA Cares – a non-profit organization at the John Molson School of Business. Her participation in numerous projects at the ALS Society has helped Krispahlyn acquire valuable and detailed knowledge of social media tools such as blogs and social networks.
